Day 2.... "Morning so far"

Had a tough time sleeping last night...mostly because of my dad's snoring. Seriously, it's like a chainsaw! He said it was cause he was so exhausted after yesterday, but I think he's just a snorer :p

Anyways, celebrate cause my folks Ireland trip might be back on! YAY!!! The pilots had threatened to go on strike (just for the 2 days that dad and Kar would have been flying). But according to the newest Google news, it looks like the strike is being called off. Cross your fingers, cause they really really really want to go. It's like the doomed trip from the get-go. First, they didn't have any availability on the day they wanted to go. Then they pushed the trip to earlier and were afraid the passports wouldn't come in time. The passports came but then Karen's leg got the DVT. She got the "all clear" from about 5 doctors, and then there was the threaten of a pilot strike! Now the strike might be off, and OMG..... ;p Anyways, cross your fingers for them.

In weather news...it's STILL raining cats and dogs out here. I'm hoping to just gets it all of it's system now, and then we'll be good to go on Wed. when Kath and I set out. But now everyone is talking about Hurricane Dean hitting the US, so it's not looking positive.

All those fingers you have crossed for my folks going to Ireland...reserve one for this trip not being a total rain out!
